Educational Toy Website

Trying to find an age-appropriate educational toy can be a real challenge for parents. A new website launched by the toy giant Fisher-Pricecalled fisherpriceplay.ca is dedicated to taking some of the hassle out of the decision for busy parents. The best part about the website is the concept of a Play Panel made up of eight Canadian moms who test out new toys and then blog about their findings on the site.

These "Mom Ambassadors" will review and recommend toys, offer play tips and chat with readers. They also have a Twitter feed where people can keep up with their latest recommendations using the hashtag #playpanel. One of these moms named Lena has her own blog as well, called Listen to Lena. She notes that on the Fisher-Price website, it's now possible to sort toys by educational development milestones, in order to find a toy that is perfect for their learning level.
